Informed Palestinian sources say Hamas and Fatah have reached an agreement for forming a national unity government

Informed Palestinian sources say Hamas and Fatah have reached an agreement for forming a national unity government under which parliamentary elections would be held within the next six months.

Election will also be held for the PA presidency, according to the sources in the occupied Palestine.

The agreement covers a PA decision for cutting the wages of its employees in the besieged Gaza, the sources say, adding a PA delegation would soon visit Gaza to settle the issue.

Fatah sources also told the reporters in the occupied West Bank that Hamas had promised to deter any future war with Israel.

A new prisoner swap deal between Hamas and Israel would also occur in the next few months, the sources say.
