Israeli troops have detained at least 14 Palestinians in a series of raids carried out across the West Bank.

On Sunday, Israeli forces raided the cities of Hebron (al-Khalil), Bethlehem, Jerusalem al-Quds, and Jenin, detaining the civilians, including women and minors.

According to the UN, in average Israel engaged in 95 raids a week in 2016 and 73 a week in 2017.

Earlier in the month, a report by the Palestinian Prisoners’ Center for Studies stated that 420 Palestinians had been detained in February alone.

More than 7,000 Palestinians are reportedly held at Israeli jails. Hundreds of the inmates have apparently been incarcerated under the practice of administrative detention, which is a policy under which Palestinian inmates are kept in Israeli detention facilities without trial or charge.
